Now Google featured snippet is quite popular. Most of the time, when I search something on google, I found a snippet box at the top of search result, what has been considered as position zero — a summary of your query with a link of the original post. I was reading a post from shoutmeloud about Google's featured snippet . And what should I write about it? Harsh, Neil and Moz have been already done their job so nicely. Well decorated articles with relevant pictures. You can conclude- how artificial intelligence has been improved day by day. Especially when you are looking something, and Google provides you with a YouTube video, mentioning the particular part of the video, that can be useful for you. So it's pretty amazing. Here I have searched for some keywords like- how to bake a chocolate cake, how to start a blog, how to adopt a dog, how to remove activate windows, how do you calculate the area of a triangle. And more. You can see here- google featured post on all these queries — especially "how to" related questions. Neil has written a beautiful post about Google featured snippet, though Neil's post is long as usual, so you have to spend a lot of time on his blog. But definitely, his post is worthy. While reading the post, I saw the Moz extension suddenly and found his blog's domain authority is 77. A single person's blog's domain authority is 77, just unbelievable — great job Neil.

I don't know any of my blog posts can be selected as google featured snippet, and I never expect it. My blog posts are like 400-800 words generally. My longest post was like 2500 words. And Neil can do that better than most of the bloggers. He does not post very frequently, but whenever he writes a post, it is like 3000-4000 words. He does not leave a single issue to solve. You can read this articles if you love blogging, cause it is something, important to bloggers and digital marketers.

The snippet can show you the summary. But ultimately you have to enter the post if you want to learn about your query. The snippet will show you only the headings or summary lines. But definitely, it is something that google invents. So helpful to all, most especially people who are not tech freak or tech geek. No doubt, position zero will get much more traffic, than before. But I don't follow snippet all the time. For example, if you search for Google ranking factors, Google will provide you with another blog as a featured snippet. Not Brian Dean's famous post of 200 ranking factors. I have read both, and both are great. But if you really want to know that 200 factors, then Brian Dean's post is the only one to read. Another example of Google featured snippet. If you want to know how much an Instagram influencer earn, google will show you in summary that-

So if you just want to know the figure, then snippet is really helpful. But if you want to know about the topic in details, you have to read the complete blog post. Anyway, no more now.
