Waiting For New Zoom Lens - Sourajit Saha

Waiting For New Zoom Lens

In these 26 years, I have fulfilled a lot of my desires — gadgets, clothes and all. Now we have a coloured home. My room is a great place to work. So working from home is sometimes enjoyable but not always. My first digital camera was a point and shoot, ten megapixels, and now I use a full frame mirrorless camera. You can find my story regarding all of my cameras here. When I purchased the camera, at that time, we were fully focused on portrait photography. And after clicking a lot of portraits, I want to taste something different. Right now I'm focusing more on travel and tour. Leave abroad; there are a lot of places in India for travelling. But 50mm lens is not perfect for the trip; I have to use another lens, probably a zoom lens with a variable aperture. And I ended up with a zoom lens- 24-240mm f/3.5-6.3. Which is considered as quite a good lens in this budget, because Sony's other lens' are very costly than Nikon and Canon? But I have decided to buy that lens before going on another trip. And I didn't tell it to my mom; she will kill me. :P
Waiting For New Zoom Lens

A zoom lens can give you much more freedom while you are on tour. The prime lens is good for portrait, but when you are on the street, 50 mm will be horrible to capture the entire building, so in that case, 24mm is better than 50mm. The zoom lens is good for capturing animal's pictures. But in Kolkata, it's a worthless zoo. I went to Bangkok, and I visited the famous zoo named "Safari World", and I was literally spellbound. How beautiful can a zoo be? And sometimes I regret, that if I had A7iii at that time, how nice photos could be captured. Anyway, leave the past, looking forward, I'm setting my mind to purchase that lens before any kind of tour. And this time I will not pay at EMI, I will pat the full while purchasing.

The worst condition I faced at sunburn last year. The camera was not allowed, and my pixel 2 is not good at night. I have seen a lot of grains in low light pictures. Right now on 8th Feb 2019- Huawei P20 pro has the best smartphone camera, and it has the largest sensor among all smartphone, and night photo is also very impressive. Even Samsung's note and galaxy series' smartphones are performed well in low light, or you can call it night photography. We have shot some pictures at low light, hope you will like these. And after a long time, I will use any zoom lens which has 10x optical zoom, more than enough. I think it will help me in street photography also, as I'm a very shy person and I can't ask any old man to click his face pictures in detail. Definitely, it is good art, but it's not my cup of tea. I can get the maximum zoom, maybe 6x-10x to get my object on the frame and then click. I have planned a lot for entire this year, don't know if those will be possible or now.  Anyway, no more now.
