When it comes to the JBL brand, we immediately think of super loud event speakers or colorful portable speakers. However, in the past, this company has also made many innovations by building a fairly complete collection of headphones, including a small number that are completely wireless (true-wireless) headphones. In this article, we will update the reviews of JBL Tune 125TWS wireless headphones - a product that promises to bring many great audio experiences to buyers.

JBL Tune 125TWS True Wireless In-Ear Headphones

JBL Tune 125TWS is a wireless headset (in-ear True Wireless) inherited from its predecessor JBL Tune T120TWS. This set of headphones has a fairly compact design, ergonomics, and the charging case is also enough to fit in a pocket. Overall, its design is quite sophisticated. One of the great things about the JBL Tune 125TW is its impressive sound quality.

The usage time of this headset is improved up to 8 hours. The JBL Tune 125TWS charging box has a battery life of up to 24 hours, giving users a full 32 hours of continuous music enjoyment. In addition, the headset also supports music listening tasks, google virtual assistant and receiving calls with just one button.

The benefits of JBL Tune 125 TWS wireless headphones

JBL Tune 125 TWS helps users have more convenience when experiencing the sound from electronic devices. They can use this headset to listen to music, watch movies or make calls and ensure their privacy.

The charging box of JBL Tune 125 TWS has a very perfect design. This is the smallest headphone charging case on the market. It is easy to travel, work or move anywhere. Product material is mainly made of plastic, the case has a matte finish, smooth, does not feel cheap. The USB Type-C port is on the bottom of the case, and by design, the case doesn't stand upright but rests flat on a surface. The folding lid has strong and sturdy magnets, and there's also a status LED (three white LEDs) on the surface of the case. Overall, it's very solid.

The JBL Tune 125 TWS headphones use a locking and twisting mechanism to stay firmly in the ear and are extremely comfortable and snug against the ear. JBL also provides 3 sizes of silicone eartips for users to choose from. Due to their snug and secure fit, these headphones are particularly good at isolating background noise passively. As soon as you put on the headset, the background sound will decrease a bit. They are great for reducing background noise in noisy offices and even significantly reducing deep rumbling like a bus engine.

Sound quality is one of the most valuable elements of this JBL Tune 125TWS set. Coming to the microphone quality, it's pretty good. Recipients could hear everything we said during the call (tested over normal network and calling via WhatsApp), but our voices sounded a bit distant. In addition, environmental sounds are also easily captured and forwarded to the listener. However, for calls in quiet environments, the microphone on the Tune 125TWS is quite good. However, the device did show some serious latency issues.

Pros and cons of the product

BL Tune 125 TWS has all the advantages of a modern wireless headset. It has a sharp design with 2 colors black and white. The headset's extremely compact size makes it easy for users to carry anywhere. The output sound quality of this headset is quite good, you can enjoy any immortal music with it. However, the BL Tune 125 TWS lacks water resistance. Most users evaluate this thing is very necessary for a technology product.

In short, JBL Tune 125 TWS is a pair of completely wireless headphones with V-shape sound for Pop and Dance lovers, and when it comes to headphones for this purpose, JBL has certainly succeeded. On the contrary, the company also needs to overcome some disadvantages to make the following products more perfect: switch to using USB Type-C, Bluetooth 5.0, and if possible, equip a certain waterproof standard so that people can use it. Users feel more secure when using the headset to exercise or in the rain.

I've got some more mixed reviews on web. Let's check it out.

1> These are a good pair of earbuds for normal casual listening. I liked the technicality and the ease to use them. They paired well with my phone and there were no hick-ups with listening with them. The magnets in them was fun and the use of the port was easy. The usb-cable was new, since the package didn't have its own charger I had to use one that I had home, but the charger end of the usb did not seem to be "standard". It ended up grating my charger. I like bass, so I was expecting a lot from these. I tried different styles of music to get the experience, but it was a bit of a let down. Or the songs I tried didn't really have that much bass. Good classical music or movie music achieved the good bass that I wanted. Hands-free calls worked with the earbuds, but my voice didn't carry enough through the pods to be heard well. They fitted comfortably and stayed in place. They blocked most of the sounds around me and let me listen in peace. Only when I had to really hear what other people said around me I had to take them out to hear. Later on I had some trouble with them staying put when I was bending over or leaning over things.

2> I like them very much! Really good sound, they sit well in the ear, and it is easy to receive phone calls. I have now been testing them for a week and I am very happy. Have used them for training, on mountain hikes, at the convenience store, and at home on the sofa. Super for absolutely all use. Whether it's music for training, or a movie on the couch, they are just as good no matter what. Like that there is super sound during conversations, and people say they do not even hear that I have on plugs. I pause them easily at a tap, and then do not have to take them out during a conversation if I meet someone to talk to when I am out or at training. Volume must be set on the mobile itself, but skipping songs is easily done on the plug itself. I have not experienced running out of battery in the plugs, as they last longer than the battery on the phone. They are easily charged in the box, and if desired you can charge only one, and use only one for so long. The box has several charges for the plugs, before it also has to be charged. I test for Reviewclub, and summarize: Long battery life, very good sound, easy use, easy connection, and convenient charging.

3> I’ve owned these for a year! Wear them legit, almost every day. Wether I’m at work using them solely as ear plugs and hands free calling or using them to completely get into a zone with volume on max, they kept on going. Even after I drove over the case 4 months ago and now charging is a lil more delicate lol. Ear buds and case survived with only the case lid on crooked now. Bought them hoping to get a few months, can’t believe I haven’t lost them. The sound quality is above average, they do not have a strong connection to the phone,(you may have to ask someone to repeat themselves once every so often if the phone is more than 10’ from your head phones. They do not work well for running especially if your heavy footed. If they had more stars I would give them more stars for the over all longevity and continued performance in sound and battery life.
