From Paper Book To Kindle: My Experience - Sourajit Saha

From Paper Book To Kindle: My Experience

Today I went outside with Avishek da. And we were discussing about books. When I was 7-8 years old, since that time I started reading paper books. Even at teenage, and early adulthood. At that time ebooks are not that much available like today. I was literally a bookworm, and almost all of my books were in the Bengali language. Sunil Ganguly, Humayun Ahmed, Satyajit Ray were my most favorite writers. Even I have read Sherlock Holmes, Jules Verne in Bengali. Reading book is really a good habit, and you should build it up from childhood. If you have any kids in your home, encourage them to read a book or even comics rather than playing PUBG or Clash Of Clans. Our syllabus never attracted me that much, which Humayun's books could do that easily.

As now I'm 26 years old, and it's 2019. Electronic media improves a lot. As a result of it, paper books are now converted into ebooks, which you can read on your smartphone, tablet or kindle. Definitely, it has some benefits. You can carry 10000 books with you anywhere. You can read anytime those. Even now if you check many books on Amazon, you will find two versions- paper book and kindle version. And now I searched for one of my favorite books- "ProBlogger: Secrets for Blogging Your Way to a Six-Figure Income" written by an eminent & experienced blogger- Darren Rowse. And I found another option too- audible audio-book. So you don't have to read that. You can learn about blogging tips just by hearing — technology to the next level.

If you subscribe to kindle unlimited, you will access millions of books as free of cost. Here is the book was written by Chetan Bhagat- "One Indian Girl". You don't have to pay to read this book if you subscribe to amazon kindle. There are a lot of options to read books. Books are so much available nowadays. But I have a serious issue with that. Nowadays I can't concentrate on a book even for 10 minutes when I was young and read storybooks. I could read a complete book of 100-120 pages at a stretch. But now I'm not capable of doing that. Rather than I love to read blogs of blogging tips, some medical sites like WebMD or Healthline sometimes. I feel myself as a selfish person. I read only those which will help me and my work. Books were one of my ways of entertainment. But now I love to watch YouTube more. I don't read books anymore. No paper book, no Kindle book. Though it does not has any strong negative impact on my life. Still, I miss those days and my book reading habits. At that time I only read books but did not write anything. And now it is completely opposite. i can express myself better with writing; I can release my stress through writing, I love to write really a lot.

sourajit.com is kind of a journal of my life. That's why the tagline- "Story Of My Life". Really I mean it. I think nobody reads my blog. Even I don't read the post after writing. But when some people say, they read my blog, and it seems good to them. i feel like- how did he find my blog? And what was so impressive in that? I don't know I'm a good writer or not- the only thing I know- I love to write. so, if people like my blog, I surprised — anyway, my heartfelt gratitude to my blog readers. Thanks for standing by me and be a part of this family(sourajit.com). I mentioned the term "family" cause my blog has been created a great impression in Google's eyes.
